Weekly Blog

We had a busy week across the curriculum. In mathematics we focused on 3D shapes and students demonstrated a strong understanding after comparing and contrasting, labeling and identifying attributes. 

We continued our Design Thinking work that culminated in students building boxcars based on a personal blue print.

To culminate the week, students worked peacefully on a giant Mandala in the gathering space, in front of our new living wall.

We looked closely at interesting verbs to enhance story writing. Students then got creative and wrote endings to suspense filled stories about entering the elevator of the Calgary Tower.
