Friday Blog

Congratulations to all your children for keeping themselves bundled up, making it through a full week of indoor recess and managing to brave the cold throughout this week!

In math, students have been using the 'CUBES' method to attack several word problems involving perimeter and shape.
They continued their work with perimeter and designed patterns for Peruvian rugs. They will be finding the perimeter of the different shapes on their rugs.

Students had fun using the Dash & Dot robots, developing codes to make them performa a variety of tasks.

You can look on IRIS to see your child's completed instrument and their description of how it produces sound and varies pitch.

Our dioramas are complete with characters now. Students enjoyed using these props to tell their stories to their grade 1 buddies.

All students and parent volunteers have returned their permission forms for next Tuesday's field trip. Thank you! Have a wonderful weekend and KEEP WARM :)
